St. James religious education offers classes for students age Pre-K through 11th grade.  Our Wednesday night schedule begins with a meal for students and their families from 5:30-6:00. Classes are held from 6:00-7:00 pm. Classes begin in September and end in April.

If you are interested in being a volunteer with religious education, please contact Rachel Bridgeford at [email protected] or call 218-927-6581.  We need volunteers to help teach, substitute teach, serve as classroom helpers and with meal prep and clean up.  Thank you in advance for generously giving of your time and talent to the religious education program.

Holy Family Religious Education

Holy Family religious education offers classes for students age K-9th grade.  Sacrament classes are not scheduled at this time.  We are using the Family Formation program which reinforces Sunday Mass and immerses families into the life and seasons of the Church.  This program consists of both classroom and home lessons.  Classes meet after the 8 AM Mass for one hour once a month at church; parents and children meet separately, but learn about the same topics.  Three lessons are given to do at home as a family for the remainder of the month which reinforce and expand on each month's topic.

Classes will begin October 4, 2026, and continue each first Sunday of the month, ending on May 2, 2027.

Please register ASAP online (click link below). Paper copies are also available in the narthex of Holy Family Church.
Plan to attend the Parent Meeting with Fr. Mike after 8 AM Mass on September 27th at Holy Family Church to learn more about this program and to ask any questions.

Totus Tuus is a K-12 summer Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, catechesis, Christ witness, and Eucharistic worship.  The mission of Totus Tuus is to help young people develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and to understand their faith through catechesis in a way that makes the faith real to them and helps them live as witnesses in today’s world.  To accomplish this, devotion and love to Our Lord in the Eucharist and for Mary our Mother is emphasized.
